Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Brazilian jiu-jitsu is a martial art and combat sport system that focuses on grappling with particular emphasis on ground fighting. Brazilian jiu-jitsu was developed from Kodokan judo ground fighting fundamentals that were taught by a number of Japanese individuals including Takeo Yano, Mitsuyo Maeda, Soshihiro Satake, and Isao Okano. Brazilian jiu-jitsu eventually came to be its own defined combat sport through the innovations, practices, and adaptation of judo.

Welcome to the mats.

As head instructor of the PTT BJJ program, my goal has always been a safe and healthy learning environment for anyone and everyone.

Each class is tailored towards the fundamental needs of all of the students. We accomplish this through a series of drills, repetitions and fitness improving movements.  All of this in an effort to give you the best experience of BJJ possible.  Students of this class can expect to feel challenged, encouraged and even empowered. Improvement is inevitable with us.
